i was able to attend mass here at St. Patrick’s last February. they had a guest choir from Australia then. the voices, coupled with the church’s acoustics, made the whole experience very solemn and memorable. the mass took an hour and a half, it was very conservative, some of the practices were never known to me, despite being an Opus Dei cooperator once.
amidst the hustle and bustle of Manhattan, one can find solitary confinement and peace in this beautiful Catholic church.
